Learning Outcomes
As a result of attending this program, participants will:
- Learn about the visible and invisible challenges to building high-performing collaborative teams and why team culture is a better predictor of team performance than team member personality or skills.
- Learn the ingredients of an Emotionally Intelligent Team Culture, including three team fundamentals, and nine emotionally intelligent team norms (Team EI Norms).
- Learn how the nine Team EI norms were identified and how each norm contributes to a team member’s ability to thrive, and a team’s ability to consistently perform at the highest levels.
- Learn how to apply the Team EI Model by assessing case studies, including a personal case study team selected by each participant (a team they lead or have influence within).
- Each participant uses their personal case study team to brainstorm ways of implementing change that can build the team’s emotional intelligence and improve its collaboration and performance.
- Participants leave with a detailed action plan for developing and improving their case study team and future teams.
